End of Year Community Ceremony – Cacao · Yoga · Sound

  • ZENTRUM FÜR ACHTSAMKEIT 24 Mittelstraße Potsdam, BB, 14467 Germany (map)

A gentle closing ritual to honor your year and create space for what’s next.

In this two-hour ceremony, you are invited to slow down, reflect, and soften into a space of grounding and renewal. Through ceremonial cacao, mindful movement, and restorative sound, we close the year with intention and presence.

We begin with a balinese cacao ritual, supporting emotional openness, clarity, and a gentle transition out of the year.
A reflective yoga practice – grounding Hatha elements blended with soft Vinyasa flow – prepares body and breath, helping you release what no longer serves and reconnect with what truly matters.
The journey concludes with a deep sound bath played on Alchemy Crystal Bowls, allowing your reflections to settle and your nervous system to deeply rest.

The session is taught in English, however if no English speakers are present it can also be guided in German.

What to expect:
Cacao Ritual: balinese ceremonial cacao to open the heart and support reflection
End-of-Year Yoga Flow: grounding Hatha & gentle Vinyasa to release, reconnect, and realign
Sound Bath: restorative relaxation through the frequencies of Alchemy Crystal Bowls
Reflection & Closing: an intentional transition into the new year

Who is it for?
For anyone who wishes to close the year mindfully, reconnect with themselves, and step into the new year with clarity and softness. Suitable for all levels.

About me

I’m Selena, co-founder of Studio Suparman Breton. I’ve been practicing yoga since 2012, carrying my mat through many chapters of living abroad. Because of that, my entire yoga journey has unfolded in English. When I moved to Potsdam last year, I noticed something missing: a space to practice yoga in English — to breathe, move, and connect without switching languages in the body.

I recently became a certified yoga teacher and sound healer, giving form to something that has lived in me for over a decade. To explore whether an English-speaking yoga community exists here, I’m offering a series of free classes. It’s an invitation to gather, move, and see what wants to grow.
